What personal information Beyond Cloud collects, how it is used and shared, and how you can see, correct or delete it.

Last updated · Version 1.2

1. Summary

This policy explains what personal information Beyond Cloud collects when you visit this website or contact us, how we use it, who else handles it, and how you can see, correct or delete it.

  • We collect only what you send us, by email or WhatsApp, and the technical details any web host records.
  • The website has no forms, cookies, analytics or tracking.
  • We use your information to reply to you and to do work you ask for. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or use your messages to train AI models.
  • You can ask us to delete your information at any time: see our data deletion instructions.

2. Who we are

Beyond Cloud is the trading name of Beyond Cloud Ltd, a private company limited by shares incorporated in Mauritius on 20 October 2026. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Beyond Cloud Ltd, the data controller for our own website, enquiries and customer relationships. Section 8 explains our role when handling information for a client business.

  • Legal company name: Beyond Cloud Ltd.
  • Business registration number (BRN): C26240477. Company file number: C240477.
  • Business location: Baillache, Long Mountain, Mauritius.
  • Data protection contact: Veer Dovinash Fowdar.
  • Email: fowdarvd06@gmail.com.
  • WhatsApp: +230 5774 6923.

3. What we collect

  • When you visit the website: the technical details your browser sends to our web host, such as IP address, the page requested, browser type and time. The website itself does not ask for or store anything about you.
  • When you contact us: your name, email address or phone number, your WhatsApp profile name, and whatever you choose to write or attach.
  • If you become a client: business contact details, project instructions, messages, quotes and invoices.
  • The demos: they use fictional businesses. Your choices stay in your browser and are not sent to us.

4. How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry.
  • To prepare quotes, and to deliver and support work you agree to.
  • To keep records the law requires, such as invoices.
  • To keep the website working and secure.
  • To deal with privacy requests and complaints.

We do not sell your information, use it for advertising or profiling, or use your messages to train AI models. If we want to use information for a new purpose, we will update this policy first.

5. Our legal basis

We reply to enquiries and prepare quotes because you asked us to, before any contract. We use information about agreed work to deliver that work and to keep the records the law requires, such as invoices. We keep the website running and secure because we have a legitimate interest in doing so. We do not send marketing messages, and nothing on this website asks for your consent because nothing on it needs it.

If we ever rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

6. WhatsApp

When you message us on WhatsApp at +230 5774 6923, WhatsApp delivers to us your phone number, your WhatsApp profile name, the messages and any photos or files you send, and technical details such as when messages were sent and delivered. We use them only to reply to you and to handle your enquiry or the work you ask for.

We message you only about your enquiry or work you have asked for. We do not send promotional messages, and if you ask us to stop messaging you, we will.

Your messages are stored in our WhatsApp account, and by WhatsApp (part of Meta) under WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy. We read and reply to them ourselves. If we connect software to our WhatsApp number, such as an automated assistant, we will update this policy before it starts, and the assistant will tell you it is automated.

7. AI

No client service, AI assistant or automated messaging is running yet. Veer Dovinash Fowdar reads and answers every email and WhatsApp message personally. Before any client or AI service starts, we will publish a notice for it and update this policy.

The AI receptionist on this website is a scripted demo: it does not use a live AI model or send anything to us. Our AI & automation policy explains how the assistants we build for businesses work.

8. Work for client businesses

When we build a system for a client business, that business decides how its customers’ information is used, and its own privacy notice applies. We handle that information only on the client’s written instructions, under a separate agreement.

9. Who else handles your information

The website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., in the United States. Like any web host, Netlify records technical details of each request, such as IP address, page requested, browser type and time, in its own logs under its own privacy policy. We do not use Netlify Analytics, and we do not download those logs or combine them with other information.

Email is handled by Google (Gmail) and WhatsApp messages by WhatsApp, which is part of Meta. Each processes your messages under its own terms. Only Veer Dovinash Fowdar has access to these accounts.

We do not share your information with anyone else, except where the law requires it, such as for tax records, or where it is needed to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.

10. Information outside Mauritius

Netlify, Google and WhatsApp store and process information outside Mauritius, including in the United States, and rely on their own data-protection terms and security measures when they do.

11. How long we keep it

We delete enquiries that do not lead to work within 12 months of the last message. We keep records of paid work, such as quotes, invoices and related messages, for as long as Mauritius tax and accounting rules require, then delete them. Netlify, Google and WhatsApp keep their own logs and backups for periods they set.

If you ask us to delete information sooner, we will, unless the law requires us to keep it. See our data deletion instructions.

12. Security

The public website is a static site served over HTTPS with strict security headers. It has no active database, login or upload facility. Only Veer Dovinash Fowdar has access to the website hosting, email and WhatsApp accounts.

No system is completely secure, so please do not send passwords, access codes or sensitive documents in an ordinary message.

13. Your rights

Under the Mauritius Data Protection Act 2017, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
  • correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
  • delete your information;
  • restrict how we use it, or object to our using it, including for direct marketing;
  • stop relying on your consent, where we rely on it.

We do not make decisions about you by automated means. To use any of these rights, email fowdarvd06@gmail.com or message us on WhatsApp at +230 5774 6923.

Veer Dovinash Fowdar handles every request personally. We check that a request comes from the person concerned, usually by replying to the email address or WhatsApp number linked to the information, and we reply within one month. If a request is complex and needs longer, we tell you why within that month and reply within one further month.

Some requests may be limited by exceptions in the Act, for example where the law requires us to keep records. If that applies, we tell you why.

14. Deleting your information

Follow our data deletion instructions. In short: email fowdarvd06@gmail.com with the subject “Data deletion request”, or send “Delete my data” on WhatsApp to +230 5774 6923.

15. Cookies

This website currently does not use analytics, advertising trackers, or non-essential cookies.

In fact, it sets no cookies at all and stores nothing in your browser. See our cookie policy.

16. Children

This website is for businesses and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16. If you think a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

17. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our services or the way we handle information change. The date at the top shows the current version. If we make a significant change, we will update this page before the change takes effect.

18. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You can also complain to the Data Protection Office of Mauritius at any time.

19. Contact

General contact information is on our contact page.
