What the design and build fee covers

One-time fee

Paid once for the build itself—everything needed to design, build and launch the agreed scope. Prices are shown in Mauritian Rupees. Any applicable taxes will be confirmed in your quotation.

  • Design and development of the agreed scope
  • Responsive layouts for phone, tablet and desktop
  • Contact, WhatsApp and enquiry integrations
  • Search-engine setup for your package
  • SSL security while hosted on a supported platform
  • Testing across devices before launch
  • Launch, handover and your package’s revision rounds
  • 30 days of post-launch bug-fix support

Setup

Quoted separately

Setup is not included in the package price. It is quoted separately and itemised in your quotation. Only the items your project needs are included.

  • Connecting your domain and hosting
  • Business email on your domain
  • WhatsApp Business
  • Payment providers
  • Google Business Profile

Third-party costs and renewals

Recurring costs

Paid to outside providers, not to us. Each one is listed in your quotation so you know what renews and when. Renewal fees are yours unless a care or hosting agreement says otherwise.

  • Domain name — renews yearly
  • Website hosting — renews monthly or yearly
  • Professional email accounts
  • Paid third-party services, plugins or APIs
  • Payment-provider fees where online payments apply
  • SMS, booking or delivery services your features require
  • Non-refundable once purchased or activated

Accounts registered in your name

Your property

No lock-in. The accounts that keep your website running are in your name from day one, and ownership of the finished work passes to you once every invoice is paid.

  • Domain registered under your ownership
  • Hosting account opened in your name
  • Full access to every credential and service
  • The approved site and its bespoke design become yours on full payment
  • Reusable components stay ours, licensed to you as part of your site
  • Fonts, images and plugins keep their own licences
  • Free to move, host or maintain elsewhere at any time

Good websites need looking after.

Your website build and ongoing care are separate services. Choose steady maintenance, regular content support, or pay only when a change is needed.

We agree on the visual direction before the full build begins.

  4. Development

The approved direction becomes a responsive working website.

  5. Testing & approval

We check content, devices, interactions, and final details together.

  6. Launch & support

Your site goes live with guidance and 30 days of bug-fix support.

What to know before we begin

A few clear expectations keep the project smooth, transparent, and on schedule.

  • You provide accurate business details, images, menus, prices, and product information.
  • A 50% deposit is required before work begins and before your project is scheduled.
  • Delivery estimates start once the deposit is received, the scope is approved and your content is supplied. If content, access details, approvals or feedback arrive late, the timeline moves accordingly and the original dates may no longer be available.
  • Any work outside the agreed project scope will be quoted separately before it is carried out.
  • Paid third-party services are included only when stated in the quotation.
  • Domain, hosting, email and licence renewals are yours unless an agreement says otherwise.
  • Ongoing updates are included only within a selected care plan or paid request.
  • Final pricing reflects the confirmed scope and requested features. Your accepted quotation or signed agreement takes priority over this summary.

Clear answers, before you ask.

The details clients most often want confirmed—pricing, ownership, support and what happens after launch.

Ask a different question
Why do prices say “From”?

Each package price is the starting point for its typical scope, shown in Mauritian Rupees (MUR). The final price depends on the confirmed scope, number of pages, content, integrations, functionality and delivery requirements. Once those are agreed you receive a fixed written quotation—before any work begins.

What exactly does the package price pay for?

It is a one-time design and build fee covering design, development, testing, launch and your package’s revision rounds. Setup — connecting your domain, hosting, email and other accounts — is quoted separately, and recurring third-party services are listed separately in your quotation.

What counts as setup?

Setup is not included in the package price. It is quoted separately and itemised in your quotation. It covers: connecting your domain and hosting, business email on your domain, whatsapp business, payment providers, google business profile. Only the items your project needs are included.

Do the prices include VAT or other taxes?

Prices are shown in Mauritian Rupees. Any applicable taxes will be confirmed in your quotation. Displayed prices do not include VAT or other taxes unless your written quotation states otherwise.

What are the payment terms?

A 50% deposit is required before work begins and before the project is scheduled. The remaining 50% is due after final approval and before the website is launched or handed over. For longer or more complex projects, milestone payments can be agreed in the written quotation. Payment methods are confirmed with you directly.

Are there hidden or recurring costs?

No hidden costs. Prices are shown in Mauritian Rupees. Any applicable taxes will be confirmed in your quotation. Setup is quoted separately and itemised. Recurring items—domain, hosting, professional email or paid services—are paid to their providers, renew on their own schedules, and are identified up front in your quotation.

How long does a website take?

As a guide: Starter 1–2 weeks, Business 2–4 weeks, Advanced 4–6 weeks, and a Custom Web System 6–12 weeks or longer. These are estimates, not fixed deadlines. The clock starts once the deposit is received, the scope is approved, and your content, branding, images and access details are supplied. Estimated delivery times depend on project scope, content readiness, feedback, and third-party requirements.

What if content or feedback is delayed?

If content, access details, approvals or feedback arrive late, the timeline moves accordingly and the original dates may no longer be available. We will always tell you what is outstanding and what it means for the schedule.

What happens if I need to cancel?

If you cancel before any project work has started, any refund is assessed after deducting payment-processing fees and any administrative or preparatory costs already incurred. Once design, development, planning, research, content preparation or technical work has started, the deposit is normally non-refundable, because it covers reserved time and work already done. If the completed work exceeds the value of the deposit, the balance for that completed work remains payable. If we cannot continue the project for reasons you did not cause, any payment for work not yet completed is refunded. Domain fees, hosting fees, licences, paid assets and software subscriptions are non-refundable once purchased or activated. Your accepted quotation or signed agreement takes priority over this summary.

Who owns the website and its accounts?

Your domain, hosting and service accounts are registered in your name from the start, and you keep full access to them. After full payment, you own the final approved website content and the bespoke design and development work created specifically for your project, subject to third-party licences and the exclusions below. No ownership transfers until all project invoices are paid in full. You receive the rights needed to use those elements as part of your completed website. Fonts, stock images, plugins, software, platforms, themes and APIs stay subject to their own licences and terms.

Can I show my project in your portfolio?

We may show the completed, public-facing project in a portfolio unless confidentiality is agreed in writing. Confidential information, private systems, unpublished projects and client data are never published.

Can I edit the website content myself?

CMS availability depends on the selected package and confirmed project requirements. Starter does not include a CMS by default. Minor content changes can be requested separately or handled through an active care plan. A specific CMS platform is only named once it has been selected for your project. Basic handover guidance is provided when a CMS is included. Extended training, manuals, video training, ongoing content entry or staff onboarding can be quoted separately.

Is SSL and hosting included?

SSL security is included when the website is hosted on a supported platform. SSL is provided by the hosting platform, so it applies while the site stays on a platform that supports it. Hosting, domain registration, paid plans, renewals, email hosting and third-party subscriptions are separate unless your quotation explicitly includes them. You are responsible for ongoing domain, hosting, email, licence and subscription renewal fees unless a care or hosting agreement says otherwise.

Will my website rank on Google?

SEO setup helps establish a search-engine-friendly foundation, but rankings and traffic cannot be guaranteed. Every package includes a search-engine-friendly foundation—semantic structure, page titles, meta descriptions, headings, alt-text support and crawlable content—and higher packages add more detailed on-page and technical work. Ongoing keyword research, content creation, link building, reporting, competitor analysis and monthly SEO work are not included unless separately quoted.

What happens if something breaks after launch?

Every package includes 30 days of free bug-fix support after launch. If something we built stops working in that period, we fix it at no cost.

Do I need a maintenance plan?

No. Care plans are optional. A plan covers routine upkeep rather than open-ended website work: Basic Care includes up to 3 minor content updates a month, each around 30 minutes. We aim to acknowledge requests within 1 business day and complete eligible minor changes within 3—these are targets, not fixed resolution times. Unused changes do not roll over. Anything outside the plan allowance is quoted separately before work begins. If your site rarely changes, pay-as-needed support is usually enough.

What does “priority support” mean?

Priority support means your request is reviewed ahead of standard non-plan requests. It does not mean instant, 24-hour, weekend or emergency support unless separately agreed.

What is not covered by a care plan?

New pages, section or layout redesigns, custom functionality, new integrations, bulk content entry, extensive copywriting, branding work, e-commerce product entry, emergency work caused by unauthorised changes, third-party platform failures, ongoing SEO campaigns and advertising management. Anything outside the plan allowance is quoted separately before work begins.

Can I start small and upgrade later?

Yes. The packages are designed to grow. Many businesses start with Starter or Business and add features, or move up a level, as the business grows.

How do we get started?

Send a message by email or WhatsApp. We discuss your business in a consultation, then you receive a clear scope, timeline and written quotation to approve. A 50% deposit confirms the booking and schedules the work.

Which kind of website does your business need?

Start with what your customers need to do. The package comparison above explains the features; these examples help you choose a direction.

  • A business website

Help customers understand your services, see how to contact you and decide whether to enquire. Bring your service information, photos and the questions customers usually ask.

  • An online shop or ordering website

Let customers browse products and place an order. Delivery areas, pickup options, time slots and payment requirements help define the scope. Try the fictional ordering demo to explore the customer journey.

  • A website linked to your operations

If an order needs to update stock or reach a staff dashboard, discuss the workflow alongside the website. Custom connections depend on the tools involved and are confirmed during the requirements review.
