AI chatbots for businesses in Mauritius

A website AI assistant that answers customer questions from information you approve, helps with bookings and hands anything else to your team. Website assistants are ready to build; WhatsApp messaging is in testing and not yet running for a business.

What your website AI assistant can do

Four jobs, done the same way every time.

  • Answers questions

Opening hours, services, prices and directions — from the information you approve, in plain language.

  • Helps with bookings

Checks real availability, holds a time, and confirms only after the customer says yes.

  • Hands over to a person

Complaints, sensitive questions, or anything it is not sure about go to your team.

  • Keeps a record

Each step of each conversation is recorded, so you can see exactly what happened.

Approved information, clear limits and human handoff

An assistant is only useful if you can trust what it will and won’t do.

  • Confirmation before action

Nothing is booked, moved or cancelled until the customer confirms.

  • Narrow access

It can only use the actions it is given, such as finding a free time or booking it. Everything else is out of reach.

  • Approved information

It answers from what you give it, and hands over when a question goes beyond that.

  • A route to a person

Customers can ask for a human at any point. The assistant passes the conversation to your team and says when someone is available.

  • It says what it is

It introduces itself as an AI assistant, never as a member of staff.

  • Usage limits

Each conversation has limits on how much it can do and spend.

When an AI chatbot can help your business

And if none of these sound like you, a good website is probably the better spend.

  • The same questions arrive every day, by message and phone.
  • Bookings take several messages back and forth.
  • Enquiries arrive after hours, when nobody can answer.
  • Your team would rather spend time on customers in front of them.

Questions about AI chatbots and assistants

Ask a different question
Will it make things up?

Any AI can get things wrong, so we limit what it is allowed to do. It answers from your approved information, it cannot change a booking without the customer’s confirmation, and it hands over when it is unsure. We test it with real-world questions before launch.

Does it understand Kreol and French?

We test with English, French and Kreol messages, using the phrases your customers actually send, before relying on it.

Is it allowed on WhatsApp?

Yes, for business-specific assistants. Since January 2026, WhatsApp’s business platform has not allowed general-purpose AI chatbots, but it allows assistants that handle support, bookings and orders for a business. That is what we build.

What does it cost to run?

There are two costs: building it, which we quote, and running it, which includes the AI provider’s usage fees and, on WhatsApp, Meta’s messaging charges. We estimate both before you commit.

Does it replace our receptionist?

No. It takes the repetitive questions and simple bookings, and passes everything else to your team.

How we plan and test your AI assistant

We plan website chat around your customer questions and booking requests, then agree what the assistant may answer or do. WhatsApp messaging remains in testing and is not yet running for a business.

  • Approve the business information

Provide the service details, opening hours, common questions and booking rules the assistant may use. We agree when it should stop answering and pass the conversation to your team.

  • Define the booking workflow

Explain how bookings, changes and cancellations work today. Calendar connections and allowed actions are reviewed for your setup, with confirmation before a booking action is completed.

  • Test before going live

Try typical customer questions, unclear requests and handoff situations. We test the languages your customers use, including English, French and Kreol, and review the answers with you.
